System
R-Breaker
R-Breaker is a totally objective/mechanical S&P day trading system. You never hold a position overnight. All positions are entered with stop orders. Exit orders are stops or market on close (MOC). Each day, you will have a maximum of two trades. On many days, you will have no trades. R-Breaker is an aggressive system. It enters the market on both reactions and breakouts. The result is a complete S&P day trading system which trades frequently and catches many powerful intra-day price swings.
R-Breaker's current trading rules are identical to the original rules first released in July 1993. Unlike most system developers who offer a new system for sale when their earlier systems falter in performance, R-Breaker is my first and only system for sale. (note: I have also offered the R-Levels system which is R-Breaker without the break out trades.)
THOUGHTS ON OUR PROGRAM - R-Breaker has been live in the market for 14 years. It has gone through many performance cycles, drawdowns and then evntually new equity highs. R-Breaker thrives in volatile markets, specifically when the S&P has very large intra-day ranges. Over the past few years, volatility has been low so R-Breaker has had few opportunities for those occasional big trades. But now, volatility is back, and R-Breaker is ready to take advantage.
The February 2007 issue of Futures Magazine displayed the Top 10 Trading Systems, which were research by George Pruitt of Futures Truth. PFG cannot verify the performance of the programs listed. The risk of loss in trading futures, options, cash currencies and other leveraged transaction products can be substantial. Therefore only "risk capital" should be used. Futures, options, cash currencies and other leveraged transaction products are not suitable investments for everyone. The valuation of futures, options, cash currencies and other leveraged transaction products may fluctuate and as a result clients may lose more than the amount originally invested and may also have to pay more later. Consider your financial condition before deciding to invest or trade.
